Description
Located in the Alaska Range, 91 km (57 mi) SSE of Delta Junction and 7.9 km (4.9 mi) SE of Mount Gakona.
History
Named by the first ascent team from Fairbanks, for the summit's distinctive thorn appearance and the distinctively "thorny" nature of the first ascent.
