Description

33 mi. N of Eagle, Porcupine Plateau

History

Named by J. B. Mertie, Jr. (in Smith and others, 1933, p. 356), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), for purposes of geographic and geologic description, but the name did not become an established map name. It was named relative to the International Boundary Commission (IBC) survey triangulation station Nation on a higher hill 3.5 miles to the east.
