Dewey Creek is located flows SW to King Solomon Creek, 15 mi. S of Eagle, Yukon-Tanana High. 1 mile long.
History
Named by prospectors probably for Admiral George Dewey, 1837-1917, U.S. Navy (USN), who destroyed the Spanish navy in Manila Bay in 1898; name shown on a manuscript map by C. A. Woodruff, Fort Cudahy, Canda.
