Description
Independent Ridge is located extends N between Johnson and Little Gerstle Rivers, 35 mi. SE of Delta Junction, Alaska Range. 11 miles long.
History
Name shown on a 1927 manuscript map of the Endicott and Haley Hunting Expedition; so called because the ridge is nearly isolated from the Alaska Range.
