Description
The boundaries of the Municipality of Skagway are identical to those of the former city and Skagway census subarea.
History
Effective June 20, 2007, the City of Skagway was dissolved and a certificate of incorporation for a first class borough was issued to the Municipality of Skagway government (a county-equivalent entity).
