Viking Rock is located on W shore of Redfish Bay, 9.9 mi. NW of village of Port Alexander, on S coast of Baranof I., Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), commander of U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albartross.
