Description
Big Branch Rock is located in Branch Bay, 8 mi. NW of Port Alexander, on S coast of Baranof I., Alex. Arch.; 0.1 mile wide.
History
Named in 1897 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN) commander of U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer "Albotross".
