Description
Island Cove is located at Cobol, in Slocum Arm, on SW coast of Chichagof I., Alex. Arch. 1 mile wide.
History
Descriptive name given in 1908 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); published in 1908 Coast Pilot (p. 172). "So named because of the many small islands in the cove."
