Suloia Bay is located at W end of Peril Strait, on SW coast of Chichagof I., 25 mi. SE of Chichagof, Alex. Arch.
History
Published in 1848 on Russian Hydrg. Dept. Chart 1397 as "Zal(iv) Suloya," meaning "porridge bay." It was called "Sulovoy," meaning "ripple," by George Kostrometinoff, U.S. Court interpreter at Sitka.
