Description
Harris River is located flows S and E to Harris River Bay, near center of Prince of Wales Island, 17 miles E of Craig, Alexander Archipelago; 14 miles long.
History
Local name reported in 1906 as "Harris Creek" by Wright and Wright (1908, fig. 15), U.S. Geological Survey. The generic "river" was applied to this stream by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1920.
