Hetta Lake is located on SW coast of Prince of Wales I., E of Hetta Inlet, in course of Hetta Creek, Alex. Arch. 2 miles long.

Name reported in 1897 by Captain Moser, U.S. Navy (USN); published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1899.
