On Prince of Wales Island, 4.5 mi. N of Neck Lake, 3 mi W of the S end of Exchange Cove, and 37 mi SW of Wrangell, Alex. Arch.
History
Local descriptive name reported in 1961 by U.S. Forest Service (USFS). "The lake drains into a nearby sink hole and there is no other outlet. This sink hole and several others in the area are quite impressive."
