Level Islands is located between Sumner Strait and Duncan Canal, SE coast of Kupreanof I., Alex Arch.
History
Descriptive name given in 1886 by Lieutenant Commander A. S. Snow, U.S. Navy (USN), because "at high water it becomes two islands."
