Keene Island is located at junction of Beecher Pass and Wrangell Narrows, 14 mi. S of Petersburg, Ale Arch.
History
Named in 1869 for charting purposes by Commander .r W. Meade, U.S. Navy (USN), for J. W. Keene, a local pilot.
