Description
Gourd Island is located at mouth of Waterfall Bay, on W coast of Dall I., Alex. Arch. 1700 feet long.
History
Descriptive name given in 1927 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) because of the shape of the island resembling a gourd.
