Whale Rock is located at mouth of Davidson Inlet, 0.5 mi. SW of Whale Head Island, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1904 by E. F. Dickins, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). "The rock looks like a whale at low tide."
