Description
Located on the west coast of Annette Island, in Port Chester, 1.1 km (0.7 mi) north-northeast of Metlakatla, Alexander Archipelago.
History
Descriptive name given in 1883 by Lieutenant Commander H E Nichols, U.S. Navy (USN). A proposal to change the name Scrub Island to The Two Sisters was submitted by the NOS in May 1977; the proposal was rejected by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN) on 12 July 1979.
