Separating Heceta Island and Tuxekan Island, between Otter Sound and Tuxekan Passage, 29 km (18 mi) SE of the community of Edna Bay, Alex. Arch.
History
Named in 1916 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); derived from village of Karheen. The water passage was originally referred to as "the pass to Karheen Cannery."
