Description
The Oasis is located on W side of Oasis Glacier 0.6 mi. N of its junction with Baird Glacier and 102 mi. E of Sitka, Coast Mts.
History
So named because of a small group of trees here, from which the name Oasis Glacier also is derived. Name reported in 1960 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
