Extends W off Tlevak Strait on the E coast of Dall Island between Eolus and Boreas Points, 16.1 km (10 mi) SW of Hydaburg, Alex. Arch. 2 miles long.
History
Descriptive name given in 1881 by Lieutenant Comander H.E. Nichols, U.S. Navy (USN), on account of the strong winds encountered there.
