Description
Lower Kobuk Canyon is located on Kobuk River, 9 mi. W of Norutak Lake, Kotzebue-Kobuk Lowlands.
History
Name published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1956. Referred to as the "lower gorge of the Kowak" by Mendenhall (1902, p. 25).
