Description

3 mi E of Imuruk Lake and 7.5 mi N of Blueberry Dome, Seward Peninsula High.

History

Reported in 1950 by D. M. Hopkins, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); so named because at the summit of the hill there is a hemispherical rock knob about 30 feet high. From a distance the outline of the hill and the knob suggest the top of a tea-kettle.
