Kavet Creek is located flows NNW to Kobuk River 7.5 mi. SE of its junction with Kaliguricheark River, 39 mi. NE of Kiana, Brooks Range
History
Eskimo name shown as "Kau-vet Creek" on a 1901 fieldsheet by D. L. Raeburn, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); however, the name was spelled "Kavet" when published (Mendenhall, 1902, pl. 5).
