Description
Espenberg River is located on Seward Peninsula, flows NE to Chukchi Sea, 50 mi. NW of Deering, Kotzebue-Kobuk Low. 21 miles long.

Local name reported in 1901 by A. J. Collier and T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Name derived from the nearby point of land.
