Parents Mountains is located extend NE from Chukchi Sea coast, between Kavroarak and Tasikpak Lagoons, 14 mi. NW of Kivalina, Arctic Slope
History
Named in 1950 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); it is a translation of the Eskimo name for the mountains trancscirbed as "Ungayukaukurnik."
