Description
Cape Seppings is located on Chukchi Sea coast between Singoalik and Tasikpak Lagoons, 23 mi. NW of Kivalina, Kotzebue-Kobuk Low.
History
Named in 1827 by Captain Beechey (1831, track chart), Royal Navy (RN). The cape is not very conspicuous unless one considers that when seen from the sea the highland area between Singoalik River and Asikpak Creek stands out like a cape.
