Description
Kiwalik Lagoon is located at mouth of Kwalik River, 65 mi. SW of Selawik and 4 mi. NE of Candle; Kotzebue-Kobuk Low.
History
Eskimo name derived from the river, shown on a 1902 field sheet by D. C. Witherspoon, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
