Description
Along the course of Eagle Creek, extending W to the Canning River, between Third Range and Franklin Mts., 27 mi. NW of Mount Michelson, Arctic Slope. 18 miles long.
History
Eskimo name "Ikiakpak" reported by Leffingwell (1919, p. 96), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), to mean "big valley."
