Description
Ignek Valley is located between Sadlerochit and Shublik Mts., 35 mi. NW of Mount Michelson, Brooks Range. 30 miles long.
History
Leffingwell (1919, p. 96), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), named the valley after Ignek Creek. He wrote, "The Sadlerochit Glacier must have filled the eastern end of Ignek Valley, * * *" (p. 137).
