Description
Heads at 681900N, 1632000W, in the De Long Mountains of the Brooks Range, flowing N to the Kukpowruk River 9 mi NE of Mount Kelly and 41 mi SE of Cape Sabine, Arctic Slope.
History
Name proposed in 1965 by geologists of the B.P. Exploration Co. Inc., as the nickname for Oklahoma.
