Description
Okpiksak River is located flows N to the Meade River, 42 mi. S of Barrow, Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name referring to the "owl (ukpik)," shown on a 1923 fieldsheet by E. C. Guerin, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), as "Okpiksook River."
