Description
Nanushuk River is located heads at a glacier, in Endicott Mts., 680730N8 1504505W flows N to Anaktuvuk River, 28 mi. E of Umiat, Arctic Slope.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1901 by Peters and Schrader (1904, p. 79), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Schrader named an "Upper Cretaceous" rock series for this stream.
