Miguakiak River is located a distributary of the Ikpikpuk River, flows E to Teshekpuk Lake; Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name that first appeared on Maguire's chart (Great Britain, 1854, facing p. 186) as "R. Miguakiak." This feature is probably the same stream spelled "Mayoriak" by Stefansson (Leffingwell, 1919, p. 27).
