Maguriak Creek is located heads in lake, flows N to Kungok River, 19 mi. SE of Wainwright, Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name obtained at Wainwright in 1956 by T. E. Taylor, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); probably means (Magurok) it howls.
