Heads in the Kemegrak Hills, flows WNW, then SW, to the E end of Aiautak Lagoon, 8.3 mi NNW of Cape Thompson, Arctic Slope.
History
Eskimo name meaning "narrow place" or "neck", referring to the narrow slough at the end of Aiautak Lagoon; reported in 1950 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) as "Koon- gook." Recorded in 1956 as "Kunakh" at Point Hope by Orth.
