Description
Kungok River is located heads in lake, flows W to Kuk River, 12 mi. S of Wainwright, Arctic Plain.
History
Eskimo name reported in 1923 by Sidney Paige, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); The name probably refers to the snow=goose (Chen hyperboreus).
