Flows SE, then W, to the Ikpikpuk River, 3 mi downstram from the confluence of the Kigalik River and Maybe Creek, Arctic Slope.
History
Named in the 1950's by Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 4 geologists for George Frederick Kay (1873-1943), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologist and State Geologist of Iowa.
