Description

Ivory Creek is located flows NE 6.7 miles along S side of Hatbox Mesa to Kiruktagiak River, 2 mi. SW of Tuktu Bluff and 44 mi. NW of Anaktuvuk Pass, Arctic Slope.

History

So named in 1950 by Patton, Jr., U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of the fossil mammouth tooth found on its course.
