Description

Heads SW of Mount bupto, flows N and E to the Ipnavik River 60 mi upstream from its mouth, Brooks Range. 18 miles long.

Named in 1951 by I. L. Tailleur, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "for Mount Bupto."
