Description

Extends WNW-ESE, on the W side of the Etivluk River, between it and hardway Creek, 29 mi NNE of Howard Pass, Arctic Slope.

History

So named in 1950 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) because the fifth and farthest north belt of the Lisburne (limestone) group is exposed on Lisburne Ridge, a narrow hogback that coincides with a major fault (Chapman and others, 1964, p. 342).
