On the Killik River, 5.7 mi NE of Lake Udrivik and 40 mi upstream from its mouth, Brooks Range
History
So named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists during exploration of Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 4, because a "Field party swamped several boats in going through the rapids on Sunday, June 3, 1945."
