Nakaktuk Lakes is located extend W of Kutchik River, 8.5 mi. S of Umiat, Arctic Slope.
History
Eskimo name referring to stones or turf "lined up" to point to somethin as a barrier against caribou; name reported in 1956 by T. E. Taylor, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
