Description
Seahorse Islands is located extend between Peard Bay and Chukchi Sea, 1 mi. E of Point Franklin, Arctic Plain.
History
Captain Beechey (1831, p. 306), Royal Navy (RN), wrote August 21, 1826, "a chain of sandy islands which I have distinguished by the name of the Sea Horse Islands." The form of the islands have changed over the years.
