Description
Egg Island is located one of Return Is., on Beaufort Sea coast, 10 mi. SE of Beechey Point, Arctic Plain. 1.5 miles long.
History
Named by Leffingwell (1919, p. 95) in 1911. This island is probably Sir John Franklin's Return Reef.
