Description
Goose Point is located on Chukchi Seacoast, at mouth of Singaruak Creek, 17 mi. SW of Barrow, Arctic Plain.
History
Name first appears on British Admiralty (Brit. Adm.) Chart 593 and may have been named by British naval officers connected with the Franklin search expeditions between 1849 and 1853.
