Description
On Beaufort Sea cost, extends off Jago Lagoon, just NE of Barter Island and between Manning Point and Bernard Spit, Arctic Plain. 2.6 miles long.
History
Named by Leffingwell (1919, p. 94) June 1912 for Captain Joe Bernard of the schooner "Teddy Bear", who wintered there in 1909-1910.
