Avak Bay is located indents NW shore of Iko Bay, 15 mi. SE of Point Barrow, Arctic Plain. 0.8 mile wide.
History
Eskimo name meaning "divide" or "cut in half," recorded at Barrow in 1951 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
