Empire Gulch is located trends NW to Casadepaga River 2 mi. SW of its junction with Niukluk River, 28 mi. NE of Solomon, Seward Peninsula Highlands. 1 mile long.

Prospectors' name reported in 1907 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) geologists (Smith, p. S., 1910, pl. 4).
