Left Fork Dry Creek is located heads on Newton Peak, flows SW to Dry Creek, 3 mi. NE of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.

Prospectors' name reported in 1904 by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Earlier maps showed "Newton Creek" or "Newton Gulch No. 29" See Newton Gulch.
