Willow Creek is located flows SE to Penny River, 9 mi. NW of Nome, Seward Peninsula High.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1899 by D. C. Witherspoon (in Schrader and Brooks, 1900, map 2), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The 1900 "Map of Nome Peninsula" by J. M. Davidson and B. D. Blakeslee shows "Biggs" along the upper half of this stream.
